Melt the caramels in a double with ⅓ cup evaporated milk.

Mix the cake mix with butter and ⅓ cup evaporated milk.

Press ⅔ of this mixture into bottom of 9 x 13-inch baking dish.

Put into oven.

Bake at 350° for 10 minutes.

Remove from oven and pour melted caramel over the cake mix.

Sprinkle the chocolate chips over caramel.

Add the remaining ⅓ cake mix over the top.
- 9
Return to oven and bake at 350° for 13 minutes.
