Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.

Add vanilla.

Mix well.

Add flour and pecans and mix well.

Roll dough into 2-inch balls and place on greased baking sheet.

Can also make into crescent shapes.

Bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes.

Remove from baking sheet a few at a time and drop into powdered sugar.

Roll in the powdered sugar until coated.

Place on a tray to cool.
