Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

Add egg and mix well.

Add vanilla and mix well.

Combine the dry ingredients and add to mixture.

Mix well.

Drop by teaspoonful onto greased baking sheet.

Bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes.
